Thank you for using Sabja. This Privacy Policy explains what information Sabja can access, why access is needed, and how your information is handled.

1. Information We Collect

Sabja does not require account creation and does not ask for personal profile details like your name, phone number, or address.

• On-device app data: Settings, preferences, and app state may be stored locally on your device.
• App usage data: Sabja may collect app usage data through Firebase Analytics, such as screen views, feature usage, and basic app interaction events. You can opt out from the Settings tab.
• Location: If you enable Smart Suggestions, Sabja may access your location to fetch relevant weather information for that feature.
• Subscription and purchase data: If Sabja offers paid features, Apple handles billing through your App Store account. We do not receive your full payment card details.

2. Permissions Sabja May Use

• Location: Used only when needed for weather-aware Smart Suggestions.
• Notifications: Used to send local alerts about Thermal State changes or related events.

You can manage or revoke Location and Notification permissions from your device settings at any time.

3. How Sabja Uses Information

• To provide core features such as Thermal State monitoring, Smart Suggestions, widgets, and local notifications.
• To remember your settings and preferences across app sessions.
• To understand aggregate app usage and improve app quality when analytics is enabled.
• To support troubleshooting when you contact us directly and share details voluntarily.

4. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

If analytics is enabled, app usage events are processed by Firebase Analytics by Google. If Smart Suggestions use weather support, location data may be shared only as needed with the weather data service used to provide that feature.

5. Third-Party Services

• Firebase Analytics: Used to understand app usage and improve product quality. You can opt out from the Settings tab.
• Apple App Store: Used for subscriptions or purchases if paid features are offered.
• Weather data services: Used only when weather-aware Smart Suggestions need current weather information.

6. Data Storage and Retention

App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device and protected by Apple's platform security features. Since most app data is stored locally, you control retention by deleting app data or removing Sabja from your device.

If you contact support by email, the information you provide is retained in that email thread for support follow-up.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

If Sabja offers an auto-renewable subscription, billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account. Subscription terms, price, billing period, and auto-renew behavior are shown in the app before purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account Settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Sabja is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as features evolve or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.
